Tablets aren’t going anywhere. As a matter of fact, according to NPD Group, the pace of tablet sales for 2013 has outpaced PC sales and will top notebook sales by 2016. Digitimes predicts table sale growth exceeding 38 percent this year with consumers scooping up 210 million units. Clearly, the trend will be towards more productive tablets that can realistically replace notebooks. The attachable keyboard, like the Surface uses, makes for a tablet that is more utilitarian and practical.
The iPad is still king of the tablet world, but Android powered units are going gangbusters with sales growing monthly.
